"I respect you, but I'm not you …" says the director Werner Herzog to death row inmate in "into the abyss." This powerful documentary film, a revealing, moving look at the impact of crime and the devastating effect of a death sentence, was simply one of straighforward, non-Herzogian film of his career. It is also one of his best for some time. The good news came in December when it was announced that the Duke was in Berlin with more than the subject line with "Death Row: A four-part documentary series," and we now have some pictures came from project.

The documentary More than three hours (which will be broken into a series and shown on Investigation Discovery) is a chronicle of four other cases in which people on Death Row Linda Carty found guilty of the murder of Joana Rodrigues during a botched kidnapping attempt of their 3 – year-old son, George Rivas, Joseph Garcia, who are currently serving multiple life in a Texas prison maximum security, Hank Skinner says of innocence in the murdering his girlfriend and their two son, and James Barnes, a rapist and convicted murderer.

Fun, no? Well, believe us, while "Into the Abyss" is certainly difficult, it is also profound and enlightening in unexpected ways, and the Duke are the voice of equality with the authorities who have been sentenced, and the families of victims. We certainly see you. The Berlin International Film Festival runs from 09 to 19
