N.C. Lottery Introduces ‘Million Blockbuster’

“Million Blockbuster” offers players more chances at winning a prize than any other North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) instant scratch-off ticket to date.
It not only offers 10 prizes of $1 million, but it also gives players a chance to win $50,000 a year for life.
The NCEL is shipping to retailers the “$130 Million Blockbuster” game along with “Double Blackjack” and “$5,000 Payday.”
“$130 Million Blockbuster” is a $10 instant scratch-off ticket that provides an added feature in which players have a chance to enter a drawing to win $50,000 a year for life with a minimum of 20 years guaranteed.
Players who scratch and reveal a “DRAWING” symbol on the ticket can enter one of five preliminary drawings.
Two entries will be drawn from each preliminary drawing to be entered into the final grand prize bonus drawing where one entry will be drawn to win the grand prize of $50,000 a year for life.
The game also offers players ten chances to win $1 million, which are paid in 20 annual installments of $50,000. Plus, there are more than 195,000 chances to win prizes between $100 and $50,000.

“Double Blackjack” is a $2 game with five top prizes of $21,000 plus lots of other prizes between $2 and $1,200. Each ticket offers players ten chances to win. If any one of the player’s hands equals 21, the player wins double the prize shown.
“$5,000 Payday” is a $1 game with 11 top prizes of $5,000. It also offers more than 18,000 chances to win $50, $100 or $200 prizes. Players that reveal a “COIN” symbol win $5 instantly.
All of the North Carolina Education Lottery net proceeds are used for pre-kindergarten programs for at-risk youth, reduction of class size in early grades, school construction and need-based college scholarships.
