Angelina Jolie is in and Tom Cruise is out. That’s the news concerning “Edwin A Salt”, a movie that will be undergoing a title change as well as a sex change for the main character, according to Variety.
Tom Cruise had long been attached to the project, but all that changed recently. Now the film will be re-written in order to be a star-vehicle for Angelina Jolie, one of Hollywood’s brightest lights, especially as it relates to box office.
Right now Jolie is riding high due to the box office success of Wanted. The girlfriend of actor Brad Pitt recently gave birth to twins, Knox and Vivienne.
In the last few years Jolie has transformed herself from a homewrecker to a champion of human rights. As Pitt and her have expanded their brood, she has simultaneously increased her standing in the elite circle of Hollywood stars.
