Bai Ling Arrested For Shoplifting $16 Worth Of Stuff

In news that’s almost too ridiculous to believe, actress Bai Ling was placed under citizen’s arrest and booked for shoplifting - allegedly stealing $16 worth of stuff. Why would a successful actress and model like Bai need to pull a Winona Ryder and steal a couple of gossip mags and a pack of batteries from an LAX terminal gift shop?
According to reports, the Chinese actress walked into the store around 4:30 P.M. yesterday and walked right out without paying. She was placed under citizen’s arrest by a shop employee.
A “cooperative but crying” Ling was taken by Airport Police to the station where she was booked for theft.
At least Winona attempted a bigger haul: $4,760 worth of designer clothes from a Beverly Hills Saks in 2001. She was caught too.
